Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Overview Are you ready to join a
growing team? CTG is seeking to fill a Scrum Master II opening for
our client. Location: Buffalo, NY Duration: 6 months Overview:
Serve as a servant-leader and mentor to multiple cross-functional
agile teams. Apply Scrum, Kanban, and XP practices to foster
self-organization, collaboration, transparency, and continuous
improvement. Visualize and communicate team progress and
impediments to stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities: Coach teams
on agile practices: user stories, retrospectives, story mapping,
ATDD, TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and information
radiators. Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog
refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and problem-solving. Promote a
culture of continuous improvement and team learning. Remove
blockers and escalate as needed to keep teams focused on goals.
Mentor junior Scrum Masters and collaborate with other Agile
Leaders to enhance organizational agility. Ensure compliance with
risk, regulatory, and internal control standards. Scope of
Responsibilities: Support multiple agile teams, ensuring alignment
with organizational goals and effective agile adoption.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: No direct reports; guides
teams through influence, accountability, and ownership in an agile
environment. Required Qualifications: Expert in agile methodologies
and team coaching Strong communicator with initiative Bachelor’s
degree 4 years agile team experience (2 years Scrum Master), or 8
years combined higher education/work experience (4 years agile
team, 2 years Scrum Master) Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge in
2 technology roles (Project Manager, UX, BA, Developer, Testing,
Deployment) Experience fostering self-organizing, high-performing
teams Agile/Lean principles expertise Experience in digital
capability development Understanding of Design Thinking Proven
ability to lead through influence Excellent verbal and written
English communication skills and the ability to interact
