Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 social worker
position is available in Warren, MI for the current school year on
a contract basis. This role involves providing critical
social-emotional support and behavioral interventions for both
general education and special education students. The social worker
will also act as the 504 Plan Coordinator, collaborating with
staff, families, and administrators to promote student well-being
and success. Key Responsibilities: Deliver social-emotional support
and behavior intervention services to students Serve as the 504
Plan Coordinator for the school Work closely with teachers,
families, and school staff to address student needs Collaborate
within a multidisciplinary team to develop strategies and
interventions Manage caseload effectively to support both general
and special education populations Qualifications: Masters degree in
Social Work Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker Previous
experience working with K-12 students in a school setting Strong
clinical assessment and intervention skills Excellent communication
and interpersonal abilities Proven ability to collaborate in a team
environment Position Details: Location: Warren, MI Employment Type:
Contract, current school year Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Start
