Job Description:
Job Purpose--Execute production schedules at rated throughput to
meet quality, safety, cost, and delivery standards.--Essential
FunctionsOperates, adjusts and sets up equipment on assigned line
such as PLC panel operation, adjusting settings online equipment,
setting up box maker, bag inserter, wrappers, date codes and metal
detectors, and other machine related tasks.Responsible for
operating equipment used in preparation, mixing, and finishing
product. Equipment includes but not limited to mixers, depositor,
conveyors, etc.Use of raw materials in proper rotation (oldest
first)Must be able to train fellow associates in regard to the
relief position.Assist supervision in proactively identifying
problems and providing solutions.Maintain cleanliness online and 5S
standards. Equipment and work areas must be kept organized, clean
and sanitary throughout the shift. End of shift requires removal of
any waste and garbage generated during the shift. Ensure proper
care of equipment.Follow all safety procedures and participate in
safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment,
tools, and person. Report any injury or accident immediately to
supervisor and/or any unsafe condition.Supports food safety,
quality, and legality.Support, and comply with all quality
management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety,
employee safety, preventative maintenance programs.Support and
comply with GMP's.Participate in PPI initiatives.Follow all company
policies and procedures.Execute the daily production schedule to
meet customer ordersEnsure timely and accurate production of
product, including setup of equipment/supplies, to maintain
processing standardsOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot production
machinery safely and securely as needed to achieve a high standard
of performanceProperly handle ingredients used in production as
needed, including staging, measuring, and mixingComplete all
necessary paperwork to company standardsAdhere to all cleaning
procedures in production areaAdhere to the allergen control program
guidelines, including equipment cleaning and verification
activitiesTake corrective action as assigned by the Supervisor
based on pre-operation and daily self-assessment audit
findingsParticipate in investigating issues, finding root causes,
and developing solutions for issues that arise in the production
areaTake actions necessary to resolve food safety and quality
deficienciesMaintain safe working conditions and preserve the
integrity of the environmental health and safety system through
adherence to the policies and procedures outlined in the safety
programParticipate in mandatory training program requirementsComply
with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and
proceduresPerform other job-related duties as
assigned--Qualifications (Education/Experience)--High school
diploma or equivalent preferredKnowledge of production procedures
preferred1+ years of production experience in food manufacturing
desiredMachine operator experience desiredBasic HMI experience
desiredBasic analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to
effectively communicate with peers and leadershipAbility to work
cross-functionally, convey equipment issues, and maintain
confidentialityAbility to think quickly and handle frequent

range for this role is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour. Pay is based upon
several factors including but not limited to local labor markets,
