Job Description /n - Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures. /n - Use templates and read measurements to position parts and sub-assemblies. /n - Examining connections to assemble fastening parts and sub-assemblies. /n - Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor. /n - Complete administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements. /n - Document production and quality forms. /n - Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. /n - Responsible to follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written. /n - Any other task/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the assembly department. /n - Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System. /n /n Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. /n - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8-12 hours per shift). /n - Regularly required to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and products up to 25-50 pounds. /n - Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling, assembling, and operating machinery and tools. /n - Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and arms. /n - Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. /n - Must be able to hear machine sounds, alarms, and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment. /n - Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, crouching, twisting and climbing to load/unload materials and maintain equipment. /n - Must be able to work in an environment with noise, vibration, and varying temperatures, while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). /n /n Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual team members. Salary range for this role is $17.00 to $18.00/hour.
