Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel ICU
RN for a position in Rochester, New York. In this role, you are
pivotal in supporting patient care in intensive care units,
managing complex patient situations, and contributing to superior
patient outcomes. Through well-matched assignments, we empower our

care. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients
based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor
patients' conditions and assess their needs to provide the best
possible care and advice. Observe and interpret patient's symptoms
and communicate them to physicians. Collaborate with the ICU team
to plan and implement patient care plans. Ensure that ventilators,
monitors, and other types of medical equipment function properly.
Administer medications, provide treatments, and monitor outcomes.
Advocate for the health and wellbeing of patients, including
educating them and their families on their conditions and
post-hospital care. Exceptional skills in establishing effective
communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
High proficiency in operating ICU medical equipment. Strong
critical thinking skills, able to make complex decisions in
high-pressure situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of New York. BLS and ACLS certification, preferably from the
American Heart Association.
