This role includes responsibilities such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member. /n The position focuses on caring for a variety of surgical patients, including thoracic, foregut, plastics, and burn patients. The unit also specializes in the management and care for pulmonary hypertension patients, with dedicated resources for post-operative care and monitoring. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Deliver competent and compassionate care to surgical patients. /n - Monitor and manage patients in stepdown beds requiring frequent assessment. /n - Utilize a variety of medical equipment, tubes, lines, and drains effectively. /n - Participate in charge nurse responsibilities as needed. /n - Provide guidance and support to nursing staff as a preceptor. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Telemetry experience is required. /n - Current RN License in New York required. /n - BLS certification from the American Heart Association required. /n - A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required. /n /n/nSchedule/n This position operates on a rotating shifts schedule, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
