Shift: Rotating Shift Schedule Hours per Shift: 10 hours
Experience: 2 years of Registered IR Nursing experience; Telemetry
experience required License: New York RN license Certifications:
BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS (American Heart Association)
Must-Have: - RN License (New York only) - BLS (AHA only) - ACLS
(AHA only) - Two years of experience - Telemetry experience
required Description: This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional
radiology department in a level 1 trauma center. We cater to
inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses
work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the
pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery
and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post-procedural
care is preferred but not required. This is an exciting opportunity
for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of
diagnostic imaging. We specialize in providing care for patients
undergoing CT scans, MRIs, nuclear medicine scans, X-rays, and
ultrasounds. Good communication skills, as well as the ability to
think critically, are essential. If you are team-oriented,

responsible for pre/post and 23-hour care for IR patients. Care for
patients boarding overnight pre or post-procedure is part of the
role. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Requirements
