Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,402 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: OR RNFA Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Robotics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Operating Room License: Registered Professional Nurse License required Certifications: - BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - CNOR Certification required - ACLS Certification (Preferred) Must-Have: - DaVinci Robotics Experience required - Proficient in perioperative nursing practice with scrub and circulating experience preferred Description: The RN First Assistant (RNFA) is a highly trained Registered Nurse. The RNFA must have both CNOR certification and have completed an accredited RNFA program. The RNFA collaborates with the surgeon and the healthcare team to perform safe operations. Optimal outcomes for the patient are a primary goal. The RNFA practices perioperative nursing utilizing the necessary knowledge, skill, and judgment. This role includes collaboration with and direction from the surgeon during the operative phase. When not performing RNFA duties, the RN will assume the responsibilities of the OR staff RN. The position requires proficiency in robotic surgery, including various specialties such as urology, GYN, colorectal, and surgical oncology. Evening call and rotating holiday requirements are part of the role. No weekends or specific holiday shifts are required.
