Job Title: RN Level 2 Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg RN Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Two (2) Years in Long Term Care License: NYS RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA Only) Must-Have: Experience in long term care setting, excellent communication, flexibility, and delegation skills Description: Looking for an RN to provide care for residents in a long-term care environment. The position involves caring for geriatric residents. Duties include direct patient care, assessments, documentation, and implementation of the nursing plan of care. Oversight of LPN and CNA colleagues is also required. Medication administration is a key responsibility. Experience in wound care is necessary, but there will be no trach care or acute care needs in the facility. The RN will be responsible for a nurse-to-resident ratio of approximately 1:20. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a long-term care setting.
