seeking a Gastroenterologist for a premier health system in the
beautiful Finger Lakes Region (Geneva, NY) . This is an employed,

Responsibilities Clinical Consultation: Engage with patients to
diagnose complex gastrointestinal health concerns and determine
optimized courses of treatment. Procedural Mastery: Perform
high-volume endoscopic procedures of the digestive tract and
colonoscopies at both the hospital and the ambulatory surgery
center. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Act as a specialist
consultant to primary care physicians and other medical specialists
to ensure holistic patient care. Data Synthesis: Analyze patient
historical data and specialized test results to manage chronic and
acute GI conditions. Patient Continuity: Maintain a consistent
patient schedule while ensuring thorough follow-up and treatment
adjustment based on clinical outcomes. Requirements Education &
Certification Medical Degree (MD or DO) is REQUIRED. Board
Certification in Internal Medicine is REQUIRED. Board Certified or
Board Eligible in Gastroenterology is REQUIRED. Technical Skills
Procedural Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in performing
endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. Clinical Excellence: Strong
history of evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. Soft
Skills Communication: Ability to explain complex medical diagnoses
and procedural risks clearly to patients and their families.
