Job Title: Registered Nurse - Float Pool Profession: RN Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Full Time Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience in MedSurg/Tele/Critical Care units required License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse. Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - PALS - NIHSS Must-Have: - BSN - Critical care experience - Comfortable floating to ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and MST Description: This position requires a registered nurse for full-time night shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotations. The role involves being cross-trained for multiple units including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. The registered nurse must demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Effective communication and professionalism are essential in dealing with patients and team members. The individual must manage multiple priorities effectively and contribute to a positive team environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are required. The staff member must provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the life span is necessary.
