Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,172 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) RN – New York Start Date: February 24, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend required Highlights: 16-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit caring for high-acuity patients including sepsis, ARDS, multi-organ failure, cardiac arrest, and post-cardiac interventions Advanced critical care experience with CRRT, IABP, Impella, ECMO, and EKOS therapies 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio with occasional 1:1 assignments based on acuity Epic charting system with 36 hours of paid orientation Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more Travel nurses welcome; first-time travelers accepted Requirements: Active New York RN license in hand prior to submission (required) Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience with 1:2 patient ratio experience Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications Epic charting experience required Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Proficiency in arterial and central line management, continuous IV sedation, vasoactive and cardiac drip titration, ventilator care, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, and BiPAP/CPAP management Willingness to float to other units as needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity for experienced critical care nurses seeking to expand their expertise in advanced life-support technologies and complex patient populations.
