Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel CT Tech - Day Shift/n/n Location/n Not specified /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 3x12.0 - Day Shift /n/nJob Description/n The CT Tech is responsible for establishing and maintaining mechanical ventilatory support for critical newborn, pediatric, and adult patients using a variety of pressure and volume ventilators. This includes making necessary ventilator adjustments based on diagnostic test results, patient observations, and clinical assessments. The role involves monitoring patient cardio-pulmonary status and maintaining stable airways during resuscitation and mechanical ventilation. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Establish and maintain mechanical ventilatory support using various ventilators. /n - Make adjustments to ventilators based on diagnostic tests and patient response. /n - Monitor patient cardio-pulmonary status for any changes. /n - Ensure patent and stable airways during resuscitation and mechanical ventilation. /n - Perform oral intubations and maintain appropriate cuff pressures. /n - Apply advanced ventilator techniques such as CPAP, PS, SIMV, and PEEP. /n - Establish ventilator weaning criteria and initiate weaning procedures. /n - Initiate and perform effective CPR without direction. /n - Conduct arterial punctures for blood gas analysis and interpret results. /n - Provide recommendations to physicians regarding patient treatment based on evaluations. /n - Perform hemodynamic monitoring and interpret key cardiovascular pressures. /n - Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. /n - Ensure proper cleaning and sterilization of contaminated equipment. /n - Document all patient treatments, findings, and progress in medical records. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n Certification or licensure relevant to the CT Tech role is required.
