Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • 1 year of recent experience required • First-time travelers accepted • Every other weekend requirement • Day/Evening ratios are 5:1 (stretch to 6-7), Night ratios are 6-7:1 (stretch to 8-10 if staff calls in) • Required to float within scope to meet facility needs between Med Surg, ICU, and ED units • 4 hours of orientation provided • Up to 5 hours of billable modules (total module time may reach 10 hours) • BLS and NIHSS certifications required • NY license required in hand to submit • Epic charting experience is a hard requirement • Scrub colors: any combination of navy and white • Special skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions • Work with special equipment including Hoyer lifts • Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and stroke diagnoses • 20-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, and rapid response teams • No holiday RTO allowed - maximum 7 days RTO • Local candidates within 75 miles not accepted Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 20-bed Med Surg Telemetry unit specializing in cardiac and stroke patient care.
