Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/10/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 4x12 hour day shifts • Every other weekend schedule required • Handle 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for Medical Surgical unit • Must have NY license in hand - no exceptions • 1 year of experience required • Must be 75 mile radius from facility • Floating to other units required • EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH • Scrub color requirement: any combination of navy and white • Skills include cardiac monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams • Provide IV therapy and phlebotomy services including peripheral line care and management • Manage respiratory equipment including nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management • Maintain isolation precautions and wound care including wound vac management • Care for acute stroke patients and other neurological disorders as well as acute medical patients • Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours, total may reach 10 hours) • First time travelers accepted Facility: This tertiary care hospital features 528 total staffed beds and includes a specialized 39-bed Acute Stroke Unit that combines care for acute stroke patients and other neurological disorders with acute medical patient care. The facility utilizes an adjustable acuity delivery of care model providing evidence-based care to facilitate and optimize stroke care during primary prevention and acute care phases.
