Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room Level IV for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n SMH Level 4 RN OR - SMH : L4RN : OR RN /n/n Job Details: /n • Day/Evening/Night rotating shift schedule with on-call and callback responsibilities /n• Float to different units as needed /n• Work holidays and weekends per unit needs /n• Provide nursing care for a wide variety of surgical patients including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma /n• Work in a level 1 trauma center environment /n• Assist with specialty cases including transplants (liver, kidney, heart), plastics, and reconstructive surgeries /n• Support craniotomy procedures and maintain strong orthopedic background /n• Operate with 2 Davinci robots used by multi-services /n• Must be able to both scrub and circulate /n• New York state RN license required (NY license ONLY) /n• Two years OR experience in a level 1 trauma center preferred /n• BLS certification required (American Heart Association ONLY) /n• ACLS certification preferred /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a Level 1 trauma center providing comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties. The facility features state-of-the-art operating rooms equipped with advanced robotic surgical technology and supports a full transplant program for liver, kidney, and heart procedures.
