Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,404 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Current state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, CNOR (preferred) Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room specialty. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general surgery and various surgical procedures. Skills required include proficiency in laparoscopic and open surgical techniques. Experience in ortho-total joint and trauma, neuro, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic surgeries is essential. Strong skills in managing patient care, infection control, and specimen handling are necessary. Ability to respond to codes and ensure patient safety is a must. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication and teamwork abilities. BLS certification and current state nursing license are mandatory. Knowledge of the EPIC charting system is strongly preferred. Flexibility in accommodating block scheduling is preferred but not guaranteed. Call responsibilities are part of this role. This position does not accept submissions from first-time travelers. Local candidates are not accepted within the specified radius. Minimal request time off is expected.
