Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract MRI Technologist for a local contract job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Imaging Center in Rochester, NY. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 4x10 or 5x8. /n - Performs MRI imaging procedures. /n - Operates and/or prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures.3. Assists, prepares and positions patients as required to perform MRI procedures. /n - Assists in administering opaque media and or loading power injector under aseptic technique. /n - Evaluates radiographs for technical acceptability and ensures images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist. /n /n - ARRT certification required. /n /n - Graduate of an AMA- or JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology. /n /n - New York State IV Certification required. /n /n - BLS certification required. /n /n - Experience with EPIC EMR preferred. /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
