Pay Information $2,374 per week About The Position Job Title: Med/Surg RN Profession: SMH Level 2 RN Specialty: Cardiac Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating (Days/Evenings/Nights) Hours per Shift: 12.0 Experience: - 2 years of cardiac nursing experience - Telemetry experience required License: - RN License (New York only) Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association) - ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Cardiac Nursing Experience - Telemetry Experience Description: This unit cares for patients receiving medical or surgical treatment for cardiovascular disease. The patient population includes pre-operative and post-operative cardiac and vascular surgery patients. Patients admitted for cardiovascular disease management are frequently seen. Re-admit patients with left ventricular assist devices (LVAD) are part of the care provided. Management of arrhythmias and patients with myocardial infarction (MI) is also included. Surgical patients may include those receiving Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts. Aortic and Mitral Valve repairs are part of the care routine. Aortic Aneurysm repairs and Carotid Endarterectomies are procedures performed. Abdominal Aneurysm repairs and various arterial stents are frequently addressed.
