Job Description:
The Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) focuses primarily
on critically ill neuro patients who require a high level of
specialized nursing and medical care. The patient diagnoses include
traumatic brain injury, aneurysms, status epilepticus, strokes, and
other critical neurological conditions. This is a brand-new,
state-of-the-art 12-bed ICU. Job requirements include an active RN
license in New York (NY License ONLY), and a minimum of two years
of RN experience in an ICU or acute care setting. The role requires
strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills,
along with the ability to stay current on the latest knowledge in
critical care. Telemetry experience is also required.
