Job Description:
Tallavera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
in and around Rochester, NY. Qualified candidates must have at
least six months of experience working in a hospital on a Med/Surg
unit.*Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):**
Demonstrates knowledge and proper application of established
policies and procedures.* Provides input for the development of
nursing care plans.* Monitors and observes patients health status,
reporting significant findings to the Registered Nurse.* Safely
performs therapeutic and preventative nursing procedures under the
direction of an RN.* Administers medications and observes patients
for reactions, documenting effectiveness.* Assists with staffing
needs by floating to different units as required.* Adheres to all
infection control and safety protocols.*Requirements of the
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):** Valid New York State LPN License*
Minimum six months of clinical experience in an acute care/hospital
setting* Current Adult CPR Certification (American Heart
Association)* Up-to-date Physical, PPD, Varicella, MMRs, and
COVID-19 vaccinationJob Type: ContractPay: $35.00 per hourPhysical
