Details:2-year commitment: $12,000 (for candidates with 0-1 years
of experience)2-year commitment: $20,000 (for candidates with 1 or
more years of experience)GENERAL OVERVIEW:Provides assessment,
treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory
disorders under licensed medical direction.ESSENTIAL
RESPONSIBILITIES:Administers therapeutic respiratory care
procedures according to hospital and department policies.
(55%)Completes documentation that is required to measure, monitor,
and ensure department effectiveness e.g., charting, billing, IPOC,
patient/family education. (20%)Performs diagnostic respiratory
procedures according to hospital and department policies.
(20%)Provides instruction to patients and other members of the
healthcare team as needed. (5%)Performs other duties as assigned or
required.QUALIFICATIONS:MinimumGraduate of an approved respiratory
therapy program.Pennsylvania state licensure as a Respiratory
Therapist, or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).Certified Respiratory
Therapist (CRT) National Board of Respiratory Care required prior
to the expiration of the Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).CPR
American Heart Association.Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance
Certificate.Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.Act 73 FBI
Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance
Certificate.PreferredRegistered with the National Board of
Respiratory Care RRTTwo years' experience in pulmonary/respiratory
