You’ll work on a variety of AEC and industrial projects, gaining exposure to power systems, lighting, fire alarm design, automation, and NEC code compliance—all within a collaborative, supportive environment that values mentorship, learning, and curiosity. Responsibilities Assist with electrical design tasks including power, lighting, fire alarm, automation, and NEC code review. Perform basic drafting, redlines, documentation updates, and project file coordination. Coordinate design work with internal teams and external professionals, including architects and other engineering disciplines. Support project managers with correspondence, material lists, calculations, design concepts, drawings, and project documentation. Complete engineering assignments that require critical thinking and creative problem-solving. Work independently on small project tasks and assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects. Participate in both office and field assignments, including site visits for field verification and inspections. Ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of assigned deliverables. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and engineering/design software such as AutoCAD, MathCAD, ETAP, EasyPower, or similar tools. Ability to collect and verify design and field information, including clearances and functionality. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to comply with company drug screening, including pre-employment tests. A valid drivers license. Pay Range The hourly pay range is $20.00 – $25.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
