Job Description:

a Sr Dry Cask Storage Specialist to manage and oversee the safe
storage of spent nuclear fuel in dry cask storage systems. This
specialist role requires a deep understanding of nuclear energy,
radioactive waste management, and regulatory compliance to ensure
the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.
Oversee the loading, transfer, and storage of spent nuclear fuel
into dry cask storage systems Monitor and analyze the performance
of dry cask storage systems to ensure compliance with all federal,
state, and local regulations Develop and implement safety
procedures and emergency response strategies Coordinate with
regulatory bodies for reporting and on-site inspections Assist in
the design and engineering of storage casks to improve efficiency
and safety Conduct regular training sessions for site personnel on
safety protocols and new regulations Prepare technical and
compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders In-depth
knowledge of radioactive waste management and nuclear energy
principles Proficiency in regulatory compliance and safety
standards in a nuclear environment Strong problem-solving and
decision-making skills Excellent communication and training
capabilities Capability to design and implement strategic plans
aligned with corporate objectives Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Health Physicist (CHP) or
Certified Nuclear Safety Professional (CNSP) preferred Training in
radioactive materials handling and emergency response
