Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. A K-12 school in Warren, MI is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) with specific school-based experience to provide support for high school students. This contract position is available immediately and runs through June 12, 2026, offering 15 hours per week onsite in a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of high school students Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Assess student progress and modify therapy plans accordingly Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school and regulatory guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with documented experience in school-based therapy, specifically K-12 or high school settings Ability to work onsite and effectively manage caseload within the school environment Experience in developing therapy interventions aligned with educational goals Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and students Must be able to work independently and adhere to school policies Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) are not eligible for this role Location: Warren, MI (onsite only) Contract Details: Part-time: 15 hours per week Contract duration through June 12, 2026 Start date: Immediate availability This role offers an opportunity to impact student success through specialized occupational therapy services within a supportive school setting.
