Job Description We are seeking a Foreman Electrician who will be responsible for roughing in conduit and wiring new commercial buildings based on plans and prints provided by the General Contractor. The role involves terminating wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays. You will be wiring instruments that control power, lighting, and heating units in buildings, as well as providing wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. The use of power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders will be essential. Responsibilities Rough in conduit and wiring new commercial buildings. Terminate wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays. Wire instruments for power, lighting, and heating units. Provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. Use power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders. Lead and manage a crew of 2-5 electricians. Essential Skills Foreman level commercial experience in conduit or pipe bending and running wire. Safety-oriented with OSHA certification. Experience with saws, drills, utility knives, ohmmeters, and testing tools. Proficiency in conduit, wiring, construction, pulling wire, and blueprint reading. Why Work Here? Work Environment As a blue-collar electrical contractor, you will work in a supportive team environment, typically in groups of 2-4 people. The workday is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and all work is based in Rochester. The focus is on commercial construction projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brockport, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
