This opportunity is with one of our valued clients seeking a Senior Tax Accountant who will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial services. This role offers a competitive salary, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. In this position, you'll leverage your expertise to prepare and review federal and state tax returns for various clients, including LLCs, S Corporations, C Corporations, trusts/estates, tax-exempt entities, individual taxpayers, and multi-state businesses. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to provide insightful tax planning and advice, helping clients make informed financial decisions. This is an on-site, in-person in Western New York. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and file federal and state tax returns for diverse entities. Advise clients on tax planning to support their financial goals. Review the work of junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations. Stay current with federal and state tax laws, sharing insights with clients as needed. Build and maintain client relationships, addressing tax-related questions and proactively solving issues. Manage multiple tax projects, adhering to timelines and quality standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA license or active pursuit of CPA licensure. 3 years of tax preparation and planning experience, with proven success. Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws. Excellent communication skills for conveying complex tax information. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
