successful candidate will drive adoption of our sustainable Honeywell blowing
agents, through building technical expertise, developing customer
relationships, understanding unmet needs within the industry, and navigating
the regulatory environment, with a focus on end-of-life considerations for foam
and thermoplastic applications.-- The candidate will work with global,
cross-functional teams focused on research and development toward new opportunities
for our blowing agent products and contribute polymer recycling and blowing
agent recovery experience to internal expertise in the foam and thermoplastic
areas.KEY
RESPONSIBILTIES

• Provide recycling and recovery expertise to lead research in improving end-of-life outcomes for foam and thermoplastic applications
• Identify technology opportunities in different foam applications and initiate projects for business growth by working closely with the commercial team
• Contribute to development of foam innovation and breakthrough technology pipelines
• Generate new technology and ideas leading to intellectual property including patents
• Willingness to travel (10%) to accomplish these responsibilitiesThe salary range for this position is $105000 - $157000. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering
  • 5+ years formulating or technical experience in foam and/or
    thermoplastic industry
  • Experience with polymer recycling and/or blowing agent
    recoveryWE VALUE
    • Experience within an R&D setting
    • Experience handling and evaluating raw materials for foam applications as well as final products
    • Experience developing materials intended for circularity, recycling and/or biodegradation at end of life
    • Experience with blowing agents
    • Some experience with all aspects of technology development
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Project management experience
    • Involvement in industry standards bodies
    • Ability to work independently
    • Willingness to learn new technologies
    • An open, honest, and team-oriented personality
